South Carolina vs. Harvard
COLUMBIA, S.C. The University of South Carolina baseball team plays its lone midweek game of the week on Wednesday, March 14 against Harvard. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Founders Park. The game was moved up due to expected freezing temperatures in Columbia on Wednesday night.
The game will be streamed on SEC Network Plus with Burch Antley and Kip Bouknight on the call. Every Gamecock baseball game also will be on the IMG Gamecock Sports Network.
The Gamecocks, winners of four games in a row, are coming off a three-game sweep of Princeton this past weekend. LT Tolbert had a pair of home runs in the doubleheader sweep on March 9, while TJ Hopkins had four extra base hits in the series.
> Harvard is coming off a four-game sweep at Presbyterian this past weekend. Jake Allen had two hits and Matt Rothenberg drove in a pair of runs in a 10-5 win on Saturday afternoon. Jake Suddleson leads the Crimson with a .282 batting average, two home runs and four RBI. Patrick McColl has 11 RBI to lead the team. On the mound, Hunter Bigge, Wednesday's starter, has two saves and six strikeouts in four innings of work.
SERIES VS. HARVARD
> This will be the first meeting on the diamond between the Gamecocks and the Crimson.

GAMECOCKS SAVE THE DAY
> South Carolina had three different pitchers record saves in the Princeton series March 9-10. On Friday, John Gilreath, one day shy of his 18th birthday, pitched four innings and struck out eight, allowing just four hits and a run with two walks. Hunter Lomas saved Saturday's first game, striking out three in two innings of relief while Carmen Mlodzinski struck out a batter in an inning's work in Saturday's second contest.
TOP OF THE LINEUP PRODUCES VS. PRINCETON
> The top four Gamecocks in the lineup fueled Carolina's doubleheader sweep over Princeton on March 10. Noah Campbell, TJ Hopkins, Madison Stokes and LT Tolbert were 16-for-30 with 11 RBI on the day. Tolbert belted two home runs, while Hopkins and Campbell each had two extra-base hits. Those four guys reached base 26 times in the two games.
BREAK OUT THE BROOMS
> The Gamecocks completed a three-game sweep of Princeton by winning both ends of a doubleheader on Saturday, March 10. The Gamecocks won the opener, 7-3, and the nightcap, 6-4. It was South Carolina's first doubleheader sweep since winning two games on June 5, 2016, in the Columbia Regional (23-2 vs. Rhode Island and 10-1 vs. UNC Wilmington). It was the first regular-season doubleheader sweep since Feb. 21, 2015 against Northeastern (10-1 and 6-0) and the first three-game weekend sweep since March 17-19, 2017 at Tennessee.
SC IN THE SEC LEADERS
> Adam Hill leads the SEC with 43 strikeouts, five more than the next closest pitcher, and a .115 opponent's batting average. TJ Hopkins leads the league with nine stolen bases. LT Tolbert is tied for sixth in the conference with 24 hits. Noah Campbell is tied for second in the SEC with three triples. The Gamecocks are fifth in the league with a .979 fielding percentage.
