Brady Thomas Granted Additional Season Of Competition By NCAA

Columbia, S.C. - South Carolina catcher Brady Thomas has been granted an additional season of competition by the NCAA and will be able to participate in the 2011 season for the Gamecocks. Thomas played in 47 games last year including 33 starts and finished with a .331 batting average (46-for-139) with eight HR and 30 RBI. He was also named to the College World Series All-Tournament team as well as the NCAA Regional All-Tournament team.
