2004 -- Earned All-America honors from Baseball America ... 2004 MLB Draft Selection (1st round/Kansas City Royals) ... Appeared in 22 games with 19 starts as a junior ... Went 10-6 with a 3.05 ERA, struck out 145 batters in 124.0 innings pitched, allowed 52 runs, 42 earned, on 99 hits.

2003 -- Two varsity letters ... Appeared in 21 games as a sophomore with 13 starts ... Worked 82 2/3 innings with a 6-4 record, 3.48 ERA, struck out 82, walked 47 ... Won five of last six decisions including wins over SEC opponents Alabama, Georgia and defeated SEC member LSU in the College World Series ... Was twice named National Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball and earned SEC Pitcher of the Week three times, only second player in SEC history to earn the award ... Earned both honors after an eight inning one-hit shutout performance vs. Duquesne (2-23-03) ... Earned both awards for a second time after hurling eight innings in 5-1 win vs. Alabama, allowing just four hits and at one point retiring 14 consecutive batters ... Earned third SEC Pitcher of the Week honor after compiling a career best 13 strikeouts in 5-3 win vs. Georgia ... Played under Coach Ray Tanner with the 2003 Pan American Games silver medalist USA National team that compiled a 27-2 record ... Worked 12 1/3 innings in 2003 fall intrasquad games, allowed nine hits, walked five, struck out nine with a 4.39 ERA.

2002 -- Appeared in 23 games as a freshman with three starts ... In 37 innings had the best earned run average on the pitching staff at 2.43 ... Allowed 26 hits, struck out 44, walked 31, with a 4-2 record including win over LSU in SEC tournament and Clemson in the College World Series ... Played with the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox in the Cape Cod League during the summer of 2002.
