Won his start vs. Georgia Tech at NCAA Regional game, an 8-3 Gamecock win; went 5.2 innings allowing three runs on eight hits ... Hurled 1.2 innings of scoreless relief to pick up win in 10-1 victory over Davidson with two strikeouts (3/23/05) ... Made first appearance and earned first Gamecock win with three shutout innings vs. Wofford (3/2/05).

JUNIOR COLLEGE -- Enrolled at Carolina in fall of 2003 after two years at Indian River Community College where he had a career record of 12-4 with a 2.50 ERA, 110 strikeouts, 20 walks under Coach Mike Eason ... Did not pitch in 2003 fall intrasquad games.
HIGH SCHOOL -- Played at Wellington High School under Coach Scott Benedict ... Career record 25-4, 1.50 ERA...Also played basketball ... 1999 Palm Beach County Player of the Year with a 10-1 record and a 1.30 ERA ... All-County and All-Conference honors in 2000 ... Named all-county in 2001 and earned third team all-state honors.
