OUTLOOK -Prior to his injury last year, looked to be one of the best pitchers in the country ... Look for him to be back some time in March ... Will provide a big boost to the rotation when he returns.

2006 -Appeared in seven games with seven starts before undergoing Tommy John surgery to repair elbow ... Received medical redshirt ... Posted a 2-1 record with a 2.65 ERA in 34 innings pitched with 47 strikeouts and 11 walks before injury ... Pitched a season-high 7.2 innings and allowed just one run on three hits with a career-high 12 strikeouts in 4-1 win over Florida (3/24) ... Earned first win of the season pitching 5.2 innings and allowing four runs on four hits with nine strikeouts in 10-4 win over Quinnipiac (3/10).

Pitched 52.1 innings with 3-1 record, one save, 3.27 ERA, 49 strikeouts, 14 walks ... Pitched complete game four hit shutout and earned SEC Pitcher of the Week Honors in 3-0 win over Ole Miss (5/2/04) ... Other two wins were in relief, both over SEC rival Florida ...
