JUNIOR COLLEGE - Played two seasons at Young Harris College under Coach Rick Robinson. Batted .364 last year with 52 stolen bases. Two year SB total 109. Two-time All-Conference selection and 2003 Region Tournament MVP as a freshman. Drafted in 2003 by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 30th round. Dean's List 2003, 2004.

HIGH SCHOOL - Played four years at Travelers Rest High School under Coach Ric Smith. Batted .491 in 2002. Four year home run total was 25. Two-time All-Conference selection. Named to 2002 North-South All-Start team. Earned All-State honors in 2002 as a senior. Also played basketball and football. Played four seasons of American Legion baseball.

PERSONAL - Born Joey Alexander Friddle 3/10/84 at Travelers Rest. Parents are Tony Friddle and Kim Forrester. Has an older brother, Brent Friddle, and a younger sister, Sarah Forrester. Chose Carolina because of prestige and location. Favorite actress is Julia Roberts. Favorite actor is Mel Gibson.
