2006: Competed exclusively in the weight throw during the indoor season ... threw 55-2 3/4 at Virginia Tech to open the season and finish in ninth place ... the following week in Gainesville, Fla., Trout ended in 11th place ... threw a personal record 57-0 at the prestigous Armory Collegiate Invitational ... at the Gamecock Invitational, posted a 56-0 mark to snag fourth, his highest finish of the season ... wrapped up the indoor campaign with a 53-9 heave at the SEC Indoor Championships to secure the No. 11 position ... focused on the hammer and discus throws during the outdoor season ... placed fifth at the Gamecocks' Weems Baskin Relays with a hammer throw of 163-10 ... grabbed fourth in the discus with a 155-0 mark ... was sixth in the discus at the Walt Disney Invitational thanks to a 157-6 throw in the final ... at the State of South Carolina Track Meet, Trout was the first-place finisher in the hammer with a 163-3 showing ... showed significant improvement in the hammer over the remainder of the season ... threw 168-6, 176-8 and 184-0 in the next three meets ... his 176-8 throw earned third place at the North Carolina A&T Invitational ... took eighth place at the SEC Outdoor Championships in the hammer with a personal record 186-9 in the final ... was runner-up at the state meet in the discus throw with a 156-7 figure ... gave a strong performance in the discus at the Penn Relays with a PR 160-5 to finish fourth ... was the fifth-place finisher at the Orange & Purple Meet at 157-8 ... took 14th at the SEC Outdoor Championships in the discus with a 156-1 3/4 throw.

2005: Focused primarily on the weight throw during the indoor season ... placed third at the USC Invitational with a toss of 51-8 ... finished 11th at the SEC Indoor Championships in the weight throw with a mark of 52-11 ... threw the hammer and the discus during the outdoor season ... won the hammer and placed second in the discus at the South Carolina State Championships ... competed in both the hammer and discus at the SEC outdoor meet ... placed eighth in the hammer with a then-career-best throw of 173-2.

2004: Was the runner-up in the discus and finished third in the hammer at the Weems Baskin Relays to open the outdoor season ... finished third in both the discus and hammer and placed fifth in the javelin at the South Carolina State Championships.
