2017
Indoors: Won the pole vault at the season-opening Clemson Invitational with a mark of 4.80m... cleared 4.90m, a season best, at the Vanderbilt Invitational and SEC Championships... finished 10th at the conference championship.
Outdoors: Earned the victory at the Hurricane Invitational, clearing 4.70m... placed third at the Weems Baskin Invitational and the USC Open, with a season-best 4.80m at both meets.

2016
Indoors: Mainly focused on the pole vault, but did compete in the heptathlon at the Penn State National meet... he completed four of the events... won the pole vault competitions at the USC Open #1 (16-4 3/4) and the Virginia Tech Challenge (17-0 3/4)... his bar at the meet now ranks sixth in school history, best by any Gamecock since 2012... scored for the team with an eighth-place finish in the pole vault at SECs (16-4 3/4).
Outdoors: Regional qualifier in the pole vault... opened the spring with a decathlon competition at the Shamrock Invite... he finished fifth or better in five events at the meet, including a win in the 1500m, and finished fifth overall in the competition (5,950 points)... shifted focus back to the pole vault for the rest of the season, with a high mark of 5.11 meters (16-9 1/4) to finish third at the Spec Towns Invite... that mark ranks 10th in school history... finished eighth at SECs (16-7 1/4)... placed 21st at the regional meet.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Comes to South Carolina after a season at Benedict College and one season at Vincennes University... owns the Vincennes program record for outdoor decathlon (6,912 point), indoor pole vault (16-11) and indoor heptathlon (5366)... Ran on Benedict's cross country team this past autumn, helping the team win the SIAC Championship... Two-Time NJCAA Champion, named the most valuable field athlete at the 2014 national meet after winning the pole vault and the heptathlon. His heptathlon score of 5366 is a new NJCAA Championship record.
