SEC Academic Honor Roll

2013: Indoors, primarily ran the short sprints, posting season bests of 7.52 in the 55m dash at the USC Indoor Open and 8.07 in the 60m at the Tiger Paw Invite...also ran the 200m at the Tiger Paw Invite, finishing in 16th place with a 25.84...Outdoors, posted a seventh-place finish in the 100m at the Gamecock Open with a season-best time of 12.36 (+1.0)...ran a 25.84 (+1.2) in the 200m at the Spec Town Invitational.

AT STANFORD: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: The 2011 and 2009 South Carolina 4A State Champion in the 400 meters ... placed second in the 200 meters and third in the 100 meters at the 2009 state meet ... a five-time All-State team member and six-time All-Region team member ... The West Florence team MVP five times ... earned the honor of the West Florence School District Female Athlete of the Year in 2011 ... helped West Florence to region title from 2007-09 ... owns the West Florence school record in the 100 meters (12.12), the 200 meters (24.38), the 400 meters (54.29), the high jump (5-6) and was a member the school-record setting relays at both 4x100 meters and 4x200 meters

PERSONAL: Originally from Biloxi, Mississippi...transferred to South Carolina from Stanford.... intends to major in biology...daughter of Dr. Richard and Linda Ellis...mother ran track in college and for the US Air Force...two siblings, Richie and Ryan.... also considered North Carolina...came to USC because she really liked the coaching staff
