2015: Served as the team's top middle distance runner... enjoyed a breakout season, setting new personal records in his main events... Indoor -- opened the season with a win in the 800 at the Orange and Purple Classic (1:55.36)... ran the fourth-fastest 1000m in program history and finished 13th at the prestigious Armory Invitational (2:28.27)... ran a personal best in the 800 at the SEC Championship, crossing in 1:50.59 to finish 10th... that time ranks sixth in program history... also ran on the distance medley relay team that finished fourth at the Orange and Purple Classic... Outdoors -- finished second at the Shamrock Invite (1:51.97)... won the 800 at the Bill Carson Invite (1:52.44)... set a new personal best in the 800 at the SECs, running a 1:50.91 to finish 19th overall... also ran on 4x4, 4x8 and sprint medley relay teams.

2014: Indoors - in his primary event of the 800 meters, posted a pair of wins at the Gamecock's home meets...ran a personal best 1:55.72 to finish 28th at the distance at SEC Indoor Championships...Outdoors - ran the 800 meters, capturing three top-five result came at the USC Outdoor Open where he took third (1:55.54)...saved his best effort for SEC Outdoor Championships, posting a 1:54.92 to finish 27th.

2013: Indoors, in four 800m races, posted a top time of 2:00.35 at the Tiger Paw Invitational to take 16th...won the Gamecock Indoor Open with a time of 2:03.68...Outdoors, ran the 800m twice, posting a season-best time of 1:57.36 at the Hurricane Open

2012:Indoors, competed in 800m...ran a season best 1:56.89 at the SEC Indoor Championships...Outdoors, competed in the 800m....ran a season-best 1:54.61 at the SEC Championships

HIGH SCHOOL: Best of 1:56.96 in the 800m to place sixth at Ohio state meet while competing at Badin High School in Hamilton, Ohio...2011 GCL North/Central 800m Champion...2011 Cincinnati Enquirer Division 3 First Team All-Star

PERSONAL: National Merit Commended Scholar, US Army Reserve National Scholar Award...qualified for International DECA Conference in Quiz Bowl...also lettered in soccer and was a team captain...son of Joe and Linda Keating....two siblings, Kara and Patrick...intends to major in exercise science and minor in psychology...also considered Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia...came to South Carolina because he knew he would fit in and that he could find success within the Gamecock family.
