2005: Ran the 800 meters and the mile during the indoor season... best effort was a 4:15.54 mile run to finish 11th at the Meet of Champions in New York... competed in both the 800 and 1,500 meters during the outdoor season... won the 800 meters at the South Carolina State Championships with a season-best time of 1:58.13... ran his fastest 1,500 meters at the SEC Outdoor Championships when he finished 15th with a time of 3:57.46.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Burke High School in Omaha, Neb... lettered four times in both cross country and track & field... coached by Mike Mingo... best times were 1:55.15 in the 800 meters and 4:21.86 in the 1,600... received academic All-Metro Conference track athlete honors for 2003 and 2004, as well as academic All-Metro Conference for cross country in 2004... was a member of the Youth Athletic National Champion 4x800m relay team.
