Shattered school's 400m record in NCAA final with time of 44.57 and finished as runner-up after a photo finish determined that Minnesota's Adam Steele crossed the finish first by sixth-thousandths of a second ... 2002: During indoor season, won the 400m dash at the UNC Early Invitational and at the Five Way SEC Meet ... Placed fourth in the 400m dash at the Tyson Invitational and the Meet of Champions ... Finished sixth in the 400m dash at the SEC Championships ... Qualified for the 400m at the NCAA Championships ... All-American with the 4x400m relay that finished third at the NCAA Championships, clocking the school record at 3:05.90 ... Finished the indoor season with the school record in the 400m at 46.28 ... Outdoors, competed in the 400m dash at the Sea Ray Relays ... Placed third in the 400m dash at the Spec Town Relays ... Finished fifth in the 400m dash at the SEC Championships ... Ran a leg of the winning 4x400m relay at the SEC Championships, shattering a nine-year old SEC record to put up a time of 3:02.81 ... Placed eighth in the 400m dash at the NCAA Championships ... Went on to finish fourth in the same event in the final with a time of 46.70 ... Placed fourth at the SEC Indoor Championships ... At the NCAA Championships, was sixth in the 400m ... Ran the third leg of USC's 4x400m relay which finished third and picked up his second All-American honors at the Championship ... Outdoors, placed first in 400m dash at UTEP with a time of 45.79 ...
