HIGH SCHOOL: Top marks of 22:30 in the 6000m, 18:32 in the 5000m, 18:17 in the 3 mile and 11:32 in the 3200m while competing at Langley High School in McLean, Va...two-time indoor district champion in the 4x800m and 3200m...two-time indoor All-Region in the 3200m...competed at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships in the 4x800m in 2009 and 2010...Leadership Award winner for indoor track in 2011 and 2012 and outdoor track in 2012 PERSONAL: Cooper Scholar and enrolled in the South Carolina Honors College...intends to major in early childhood education...a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, the Leadership Honor Society and the Quill & Scroll Honor Society...daughter of Ron and Stephanie Fouse....has five siblings - John, Patrick, Emily, Michael and Robert...also considered the College of William and Mary, Virginia, Duke and James Madison...Came to South Carolina because she felt the cross country and track programs were an excellent fit and that the campus and southern atmosphere were a good fit as well |
