Team rises six spots in the poll

HIGH SCHOOL: Top discus throw of 123'8, a South Aiken High School record...won the region meet and placed third at the South Carolina State Championships in 2012...voted the field MVP for her high school track team

PERSONAL: Daughter of John and Tammy Travis...has one sibling, Matthew...intends to major in exercise science...also considered Coastal Carolina...came to USC because it was close to home, she was a Gamecock fan, the exercise science program and the opportunity to compete in the SEC.
