2014: Indoors - Did not compete...Outdoors - ran the 100 and 200-meter distances...posted a top 100m time of 10.77 to take seventh at the Bill Carson Invitational...finished 20th at the distance at SEC Outdoor Championships (10.80)...in the 200 meters, ran his best time at the Bill Carson Invite at 21.41...clocked a 21.71 in the 200m at SEC Outdoors...ran leadoff on the Gamecocks' collegiate division winning 4x1 relay (40.16)...anchored South Carolina's 4x1 that finished second at the NCAA East Preliminary Round with the No. 3 time in school history (38.98) and went on to NCAA Outdoor Championships where they finished 14th (39.57).
2013: Indoors, in the three home indoor meets, posted a best time of 6.48 in the 55m dash...in the 60m, sprinted to a best-time of 7.01 at the Armory Collegiate Invitational and posted a 7.09 at the SEC Indoor Championships to finish 31st...also ran the 200m, recorded a season-best of 22.13 at the Auburn Invitational...finished in 10th place in the 200m at the Hokie Invitational with a time of 22.60...Outdoors, continued to battle injury, racing at one meet, the Hurricane Invitational, posting a 13th-place finish in the 100m with a time of 10.88 and a third-place 400mH finish with a time of 53.50.
HIGH SCHOOL: Bests of 10.23 in the 100m and 21.23 in the 200m while competing at Dreher High School in Columbia, S.C.
PERSONAL: Son of Greg and Barbie Sanders...two siblings, Nyeria and Tara...intends to major in nursing...also considered Ohio State, Clemson, LSU...came to South Carolina because he always dreamed of being a Gamecock and couldn't pass up the opportunity.
