2017 Indoors: Primarily competed in the mile run as a freshman... placed fifth in her debut, running 5:09.67 at the Clemson Invitational... finished 20th at the SEC Championships, with a season-best of 5:00.15... also ran the 800m once and served on the distance medley relay... was part of the DMR that won the Clemson Invitational and scored for Carolina at the Armory Invitational, placing seventh in 12:04.55. Outdoors: Ran both the 1500m and the 5000m... earned three top-five finishes in the 1500, running a season-best 4:39.21 to come in second at the Gamecock Invitational... placed 26th in the 1500 at the SEC Championship, running 4:43.22... placed second in her 5000m season-opener, checking in at 17:45.59 at the Hurricane Invitational... added a third-place finish at the Spec Towns Invitational, with a mark of 17:33.46... lowered her time again at the Penn Relays, a time of 17:27.24... hit another season best at the SEC Championships, placing 29th with a mark of 17:24.46... qualified for the USATF Junior Championships in the 5K, placing 15th with a mark of 18:03.71.
2016 Cross Country (Freshman)
Ranked second on the team in all but one race and always stood atop the Gamecock freshmen finishers ... Came out strong with her 11th-place finish in the lidlifter, the Carolina Challenge (18:59.90) ... Finished second among Division I competitors at the 33rd Winthrop/adidas Invitational in 18:47.3 ... Posted her top 5K time but lowest finish on the team (fourth) in the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational (18:24.7) ... Finished 90th overall in her first career 6K race, the SEC Championships (22:46.0) ... Posted her best 6K time in the NCAA Southeast Regionals at 22:27.1, ranking 103rd overall.
Ran for four years in both track and cross country at Greenwood High ... Finished second in consecutive 1600m finals at the South Carolina High School League State Championship, including her personal-best clocking of 5:06.06 as a senior ... Won every 3200m race during her senior year until the SCHSL State Championship, where she ranked third ... A three-time GHS distance MVP winner ... Won eight county titles in track (800m in 2014 and 16, 1600m and 3200m from 2014-16) and four more regional crowns (1600m from 2014-16 and 3200m in 2016) ... In cross country, she competed in the last two 4A state meets as well as one her freshman year, finishing a best of 13th as a senior ... Ran her best 5K time of 18:24.55 to win the 2015 Region 1 4A championships ... A member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club ... Graduated as an AP scholar and a Palmetto Fellow ...
