overview
Being a member of the Gamecock women’s tennis team means a lot of things — upholding a tradition, continuously working hard to improve, competing against the nation’s best — and those are only the tip of the iceberg. It means achieving at a high level in the classroom, lending a helping hand in the community, upholding the values and mission of the University and athletics department, and becoming a productive member of the world community after graduation. Now, it’s not all about business. Part of being a Gamecock also means having fun, visiting all parts of the United States, meeting people who forever make an impact on your life, and being part of a close-knit group committed to achieving the same goals. It’s a way of life; a life that Jaklin Alawi, Josefin Andersson, Stephanie Cox, Dina Guzairova, Dominika Kanakova, Anya Morgina, Adriana Pereira, Katerina Popova and Dijana Stojic would not trade for anything in the world.
