South Carolina Tennis
Consistency is perhaps the word that best describes the Gamecock women's tennis program and for good reason. The Gamecocks have competed in the NCAA Tournament 18 consecutive years, tied for the 11th longest active streak in the country. During South Carolina's 18 straight NCAA appearances, the Gamecocks have advanced to at least the second round 16 times, gone to a pair of Sweet 16s and reached the quarterfinals once. South Carolina's quarterfinal appearance came in 2009 and tied for the best postseason finish in school history. In 39 seasons of varsity women's tennis, Carolina has posted 20 top-25 finishes and the Gamecocks' 22 NCAA appearances is tied for the 13th most in the country.
