South Carolina Basketball

Under the guidance of head coach Dawn Staley since May 2008, South Carolina women's basketball has re-emerged as a national and SEC presence. The Gamecocks were ranked as high as 14th in the nation and finished the season at No. 17 in 2012-13. The program's 82 wins in the last four seasons marks the most successful four-year stretch in the SEC era and include back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, including a march to the 2012 Sweet 16. The Gamecocks are trained and coached by the best as South Carolina coaching staff has achieved at every level of the sport, boasting 59 seasons of coaching experience, 20 years of playing professionally in the United States and five Olympic gold medals.
