Anderson Academic Enrichment Center, nicknamed "The Dodie" after its namesake, opened in spring 2010 as the first cornerstone of the re-development of the Athletics Village. The three-story, 40,000-square-foot center houses academic services, our life skills programs and a cafeteria. It serves as a hub for student-athletes where they go throughout the day to use computers and study areas, receive tutoring, counseling and academic advising. The Academic Enrichment Center offers a wide variety of Learning Enhancement Programs including academic mentoring, subject-specific tutoring, learning specialist services, educational testing, academic counseling, summer bridge course, and assistive technology for all student-athletes. The program is a proactive approach to assisting these students in adjusting to college life, maintaining acceptable levels of academic performance, and assisting in educational needs.
