The South Carolina volleyball program opened its final road trip of the 2015 season with a bang, winning a five-set thriller at Arkansas Wednesday night. The Gamecocks (13-17, 6-11 SEC) were able to grind out the match, with comeback wins in the first and third sets and held off the Razorbacks (17-12, 7-10 SEC), 25-23, 18-25, 25-23, 17-25, 15-10. Women's Basketball - No. 2 Gamecocks Ready for Rainbow Wahine Showdown - 11/26/15
Women's basketball will take on No. 16/18 Arizona State, CSU Bakersfield and Hawaii this weekend.
No. 2/2 South Carolina is back in action this weekend with three games in three days at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Rainbow Wahine Showdown, hosted by University of Hawaii. The Gamecocks open with a top-20 battle against No. 16/18 Arizona State on Friday at 7:30 p.m. (ET). South Carolina faces CSU Bakersfield on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. (ET) and host Hawaii on Sunday at 10 p.m. (ET). Women's Volleyball - Aubrey Ezell Named to SEC All-Freshman Team - 11/25/15
She becomes the first Gamecock since 2010 to make the team
Gamecock volleyball's Aubrey Ezell was recognized Wednesday morning by the SEC as a member of its seven-woman All-Freshman team. The team's first-year setter has been a steady presence in her first season at Carolina, as the only member of the team who has started in every match and has not missed a single set. She is the first Gamecock to make the All-Freshman team since Juliette Thevenin in 2010. Read more (+)

Thornwell named tournament MVP, joins Kachinas on All-Tournament team
The South Carolina men's basketball team will be coming home with a new addition to the trophy case Tuesday, after winning the 2015 Paradise Jam in convincing fashion Monday with a 83-75 win over Tulsa (4-1). Five Gamecocks would reach double figures, and a fast start would play a big role in moving the team's record now to 5-0. The University of South Carolina kicked off the Carolina-Clemson rivalry week on Monday with the annual Tigerburn, held at the Greene Street Intramural Fields near Colonial Life Arena. This year's tiger was built by the students in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and was nearly 30 feet tall. Read more (+)
Women's Basketball - Big Plays at Crunch Time Deliver 68-65 Win at UCLA - 11/22/15
Women's basketball posts 68-65 win against tough Bruin squad.
No. 2/2 South Carolina used solid defense down the stretch to secure a 68-63 win at UCLA Sunday afternoon behind a career-high 17 points from Tina Roy and 17 from Tiffany Mitchell. The Gamecocks (4-0) and Bruins (2-1) were tied at 58-58 with 4:09 to play when A'ja Wilson's bucket gave South Carolina a lead they would have to fight for but not did not relinquish as Wilson and Alaina Coates locked down the lane on the defensive end to seal the win.
