Men's Basketball - Fan Information For Oct. 26 Men's Hoops Exhibition Against Benedict - 10/21/14
Several events planned for Sunday's exhibition matchup.
Several events are planned at Colonial Life Arena prior to the Oct. 26 men's basketball exhibition contest against Benedict College, which tips at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday. The meeting marks the first-ever between the two schools on the hardwood. There will be a $5 parking fee, however, admission is free for the event, with doors set to open at 2:30 p.m. ET. Mitchell tipped for Player of the Year honors; Welch picked for All-SEC
A panel of both SEC and national media members picked South Carolina to win the 2015 SEC women's basketball championship, the league office announced today. The Gamecocks claimed their first SEC title last season and, if the prediction holds, would become just the fourth team to defend its title. After an impressive 3-2 upset over No. 5 Florida and a 2-0 shutout vs. Ole Miss last week, South Carolina women's soccer returned to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women's Rankings this week, checking in at No. 21.
