South Carolina men's tennis has amassed six conference championships en route to 21 NCAA Tournament appearances. The Gamecocks have twice advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16, most recently in 2005. A member of the Atlantic Coast Conference then the Metro Conference and now the Southeastern Conference, South Carolina has established a national reputation for quality and fair play.

With its first addition to the group in a decade in 2013, 11 Gamecocks have earned All-America status, including three who won the award multiple times. Additionally, two South Carolina players have been named Academic All-Americans and 14 have earned spots on the Scholar All-America Team.
