This building strives to synthesize the traditional architectural values associated with the University of South Carolina and the dynamic movement of athleticism. The building appeals to student-athletes and also the recruits evaluating the role South Carolina may play in their development as a student-athlete. The building’s primary purpose is to foster a sense of community among student-athletes as well as promote excellence in academics.

The Rice Athletics Center forms the northeast corner of the Roost Athletics Village anchoring the courtyard along with the Dodie Anderson Academic Enrichment Center. The building is a three-story, 68,683-square foot facility, constructed of steel and concrete with brick and glass exterior, and was built at a cost of $8.5 million.

The University of South Carolina baseball program unveiled its new baseball facility Feb. 21, 2009. The $35-plus million Founders Park has a capacity of 8,242 fans and is the crown jewel among baseball stadiums across the nation. Founders Federal Credit Union and the University of South Carolina announced a partnership on Oct. 22, 2015, awarding naming rights to the facility, officially changing the name from Carolina Stadium to Founders Park.

Wheeler Beach opened for the beach volleyball program’s inaugural season in 2014. It is located between Carolina Softball Stadium and Carolina Tennis Center. The complex is the first collegiate beach volleyball facility of its kind and the first ever in the SEC. It features five courts with lights and electronic scoreboards on each court, the first collegiate beach volleyball facility to have this feature.

One Wood Farm, recognized as one of the premier equestrian facilities in the state, serves as the team’s home base. One Wood Farm has built a solid reputation within the equestrian community in South Carolina. The facility features include a covered arena, three barns with the capacity for 22 horses, two outdoor all-weather footing arenas, a sprinkler system for all arenas, locker room and three tack rooms.

Home to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks is Williams-Brice Stadium, recognized as one of the finest facilities in all of college football. Carolina annually ranks among the nation’s leaders in attendance and Gamecock fans are regarded as some of the most loyal in the country.

Football Operations BuildingCyndi and Kenneth Long Family Football Operations Center

The Cyndi and Kenneth Long Family Football Operations Center provides the Gamecocks’ program with a recruiting center, locker room, weight room, athletic training room, coaches’ offices, meeting rooms, dining room, equipment room and player lounges; all in one convenient location. It opened in January 2019 and is adjacent to the Jerri and Steve Spurrier Indoor Practice Facility and outdoor practice fields.

The Jerri and Steve Spurrier Indoor Practice Facility opened in 2015 at the west end of Gamecock Park. The state-of-the-art facility houses a full indoor field adjacent to the new practice fields. The graphics honor the retired numbers of the program, along with major award winners and Gamecock Greats. Two full-length grass football fields run adjacent to the Jerri and Steve Spurrier Indoor Practice Facility, giving the team the opportunity to change practice sites as quickly as the weather.

South Carolina unveiled a new 17-acre golf practice facility in spring 2017. The state-of-the-art complex, located behind Gamecock Park and minutes from the University’s main campus, features over 400 yards of hitting space as well as three greens totaling 18,000 square feet. Cobblestone Park serves as the home course for the men’s and women’s golf teams. The course provides the Gamecocks with the finest playing and practice facilities in the country. The 27-hole spectacular layout has been heralded as one of the premier courses in the Southeast.

Located in the heart of the South Carolina campus is the home field of the Gamecock men’s and women’s soccer teams, Eugene E. Stone III Stadium. The surface of Stone Stadium was completely replaced during the summer of 2009. A state-of-the-art irrigation system was installed, along with new sod for the entire field surface.

In the spring of 2013, South Carolina softball got a new home at a familiar site with a new facility built on the same plot of land that has hosted the Gamecocks since at least 1983. Carolina Softball Stadium at Beckham Field raised the seating capacity to 1,277, brought a new locker room and indoor hitting facility to the Gamecocks and added a new elevated press box and suites to the site. Construction began in early June 2012 and finished during summer 2013.

Housed in the Sol Blatt P.E. Center, the Carolina Natatorium serves as the home to South Carolina swimming and diving. Extending 50 meters in length and 25 yards in width, the pool meets all structural requirements for SEC and NCAA competition. One of the more convenient aspects of the pool is its ability to transform from an Olympic size pool to a recreational training facility.

Carolina Tennis Center, completed in January 2012, serves as the new home for both the men’s and women’s tennis teams. It features 12 courts with lights and scoreboards on each one. Each side of six courts also has a master scoreboard so fans always know what is happening on each court. The center accommodates seating for over 700 fans and there is also 900 square feet of dedicated restroom space.

Built by Cohn Construction and completed prior to the 2021-22 season, the Carolina Indoor Tennis Center features six courts designed to look and play just like the teams’ outdoor courts. Custom lighting and a linear system provided by Sport Interiors matches those used by the USTA at its indoor facility in Lake Nona, Fla., and is designed to provide the best indoor playing experience possible. In addition to the main scoreboard in the center of the facility to track all courts, each court has its own individual scoreboard as well.

Completed prior to the 2019 indoor season, Carolina Indoor Track & Field Complex features a banked six-lane 200m Mondo track, a separate throws area, two pole vault areas, two jumps runways and two high jump areas along with an eight-lane 60m straight track on the infield.

The Morris and Sheila Cregger Track is the newest addition to Carolina’s athletic facilities portfolio and features one of the fastest surfaces in all of global track & field. Designed to host world-class events at all levels, Cregger Track has the Gamecocks poised to compete among the nation’s elite programs for years to come.

Carolina Volleyball CenterCarolina Volleyball Center

The Carolina Volleyball Center is the home of the Gamecock volleyball team year-round and also serves as the practice facility for the Gamecock men’s and women’s basketball teams. The volleyball office suite received extensive renovations in the summer of 2012, adding a team video room and lounge while improving the coaches’ office space.
