COCKY APPEARANCES
GENERAL INFORMATION
When available, Cocky makes public appearances for community and/or private parties upon request for the Columbia and the surrounding areas.
Please note that Cocky is unavailable during the dates of June 15-August 1 of each year. Cocky appearances for businesses are reserved for our sponsors only. For information on becoming a sponsor, please contact the Sports Marketing Department at 803-777-5567.
All appearances requests involving events promoting literacy should be directed to Cocky's Reading Express through Kim Jeffcoat at KJEFFCOA@mailbox.sc.edu or 803-777-3858.
FEES
Providing availability, Cocky makes appearances inside the Columbia area at the following rates:
PRIVATE PARTIES = $100/hour
COMMUNITY EVENTS = $50/hour
Appearances outside of the Columbia area (30 miles or more from USC campus) will be charged an additional mileage fee.
MILEAGE FEE = 51.5 cents per mile roundtrip
HOW TO REQUEST A COCKY APPEARANCE
Please read the provisions of the appearances below, fill out the request form and send in to Erika Goodwin a minimum of six weeks prior to the requested appearance date. Form may be sent via fax, email, or mail. Availability confirmation and response will take 1-2 weeks.
