COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gamecock head men’s soccer coach Mark Berson invites all South Carolina students on the Columbia campus who are interested in trying out for the team to an interest meeting on Tues., Feb. 2 at 4 p.m. in the USC Fieldhouse.

The meeting will cover all necessary information, exams and forms that a student must fill out to be eligible for the tryouts, which will be held on Feb. 16 at 4:30 p.m. at Stone Stadium. All interested parties will also need to have a doctor-signed physical and proof of a sickle-cell test to participate. Any questions one may have will also be covered during the meeting.

To try out, one must be a full-time undergraduate student at the University of South Carolina on the Columbia campus and have a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average.

South Carolina advanced into its 21st NCAA Tournament this fall under Berson’s guidance and advanced into the event’s second round.
