Lalla Aicha Tour School Final Leaderboard

MARRAKECH, Morocco – Former South Carolina women’s golf standouts Justine Dreher and Amanda Strang wrapped up day three of the Lalla Aicha Tour School Final on Sunday.

Both golfers carded rounds of 3-under (69) in the third round of the five-day event that features 115 players from 35 countries. Dreher has finished under par in all three rounds and stands in third place at 13-under for the tournament.

The pair of former Gamecocks will be in action for one more round on Monday before the field is cut to the top 60 players who will play at Samanah Country Club in Tuesday’s final round. The first four rounds of the tournament alternate between Samanah and Amelkis Golf Club, and each golfer in the field is competing for membership on the 2016 Ladies European Tour.

Dreher, who earned All-America honors twice while at South Carolina, opened play this week with a 4-under (68) at Amelkis and remained near the top of the leaderboard following a 6-under (66) in Saturday’s second round at Samanah. The Valbonne, France, native has carded 15 birdies through three days of competition.

Strang struggled in her opening round at Amelkis, tallying a 7-over (79), but responded with a 1-under (71) on Saturday before posting a 69 (-3) in round three. The Jonstorp, Sweden, native notched three birdies in each of her last two rounds and currently sits one stroke off the projected cut line at 3-over for the tournament.
