Dixie Amateur – Tournament Information | Pairings | Live Scoring

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – South Carolina women’s golf standout Katelyn Dambaugh returns to competition this week, as she opens play at the 85th Dixie Amateur in Coral Springs, Fla. on Wednesday.

The four-day stroke play event, which features 141 golfers, will take place at two courses. Heron Bay Golf Club and TPC Eagle Trace will each host 36 holes of golf, and the field will get cut to 72 players following the completion of the third round. The tournament opens at Heron Bay, and Saturday’s championship round is set to take place at TPC Eagle Trace.

Dambaugh, a Third Team Preseason All-America selection, totaled two top-five finishes this fall. The South Carolina junior has finished par or better in six rounds this season, and her 71.92 scoring average leads all Gamecocks. She boasts six top-five finishes at South Carolina and currently holds the program record for career scoring average (73.40).

Dambaugh’s tee time on Wednesday is set for 7:08 a.m., and the Goose Creek, S.C., native will begin play at hole No. 10 with France’s Camille Gollety and Charlotte LaFourcade. Last year, former Gamecock Justine Dreher earned second-place honors at the Dixie Amateur. She carded a four-round total of 284 (-4) before falling in a three-hole playoff.
