Profile

  • Arbaugh graduated in 2013 in sport and entertainment management from South Carolina.
  • She loved her teammates and loved the experiences she had with them.
  • She thought her role on the team was to be the motivator, “to push my teammates to perform their best, on and off the field.
  • Interviewer Effie Manahan commented that the trait most admirable to her in Arbaugh was her willingness to sacrifice her selfish goals to focus on making the team better as a whole.
  • Arbaugh’s favorite softball moment was Senior Day, playing with all nine graduating seniors that day.
  • “That moment in the locker room when Coach (Smith) read off the starting lineup was like a dream come true for us all. Then came another overwhelming moment when we all took the field together. Knowing we were all out there, playing for each other, and that the entire team on the bench had our backs, that was the best feeling in the world. It still brings a tear to my eye!” said Arbaugh.
  • She knows the four years on the softball team were essential stepping stones to bigger and better things in her life.

Current Life

  • From Aiken, Arbaugh moved back there after graduation and got married in the spring of 2013 to her husband Drew Radford.
  • She recently started a new job with the Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department.
  • The couple is expecting their first child in February.
