COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball team will be in Gamecock Village on Sat., Oct. 18, prior to the football game against Furman. The student-athletes will sign autographs on the athletics department item provided at the event from 10-11:30 a.m. Head coach Dawn Staley and the team will also be recognized on the field during the game.

Staley and the Gamecocks opened practice on Tue, Oct. 7, in preparation for the 2014-15 season. They will play an exhibition game on Sun., Nov. 2, at 3 p.m. against Coker at Colonial Life Arena. The regular-season opener will come nearly two weeks later on Sat., Nov. 15, against Southern Cal.
