Frank Martin came to the University of South Carolina knowing that in the past the Gamecock men’s basketball program was a national juggernaut.

Just like all Gamecock fans he can tell you of the exploits of South Carolina under the watchful eye of legendary head coach Frank McGuire.

During the McGuire years, South Carolina reached No. 1 in the country, reached numerous NCAA Tournaments and won ACC regular-season and tournament titles.
