The University of South Carolina football team remained steady in the two national polls released today. The Gamecocks are ranked 12th in the Associated Press poll and 13th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches’ poll for the second-straight week.

The Gamecocks (2-1, 1-1 SEC) are coming off a bye week. They will travel to Orlando this week to face the UCF Knights (3-0, 0-0 AAC). The Knights, who are receiving votes in both polls and are ranked just outside the top-25, also are coming off a bye week. Saturday’s game is set for noon ET at Bright House Networks Stadium (45,323). The game will be televised by ABC with Dave Pasch, Brian Griese and Tom Luginbill handling the call.

Alabama (3-0) remains atop both national polls, followed by Oregon (3-0). Clemson and Ohio State share the 3-4 positions, while Stanford rounds out the top 5 in both polls. The second five is comprised of LSU, Louisville, Florida State, Georgia and Texas A&M. South Carolina is the fifth SEC school ranked in both polls.
