Columbia, S.C. –
Game times and dates have been announced for the 2012 NCAA Super Regional in Columbia, S.C. between South Carolina (43-17) and Oklahoma (42-23). The super regional at Carolina Stadium is set to begin on Saturday, June 9 with first pitch at 8 p.m. and the game televised on ESPNU. Sunday’s game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPNU. The if necessary game for Monday will start at 7 p.m. and be televised on ESPN2. South Carolina is making its 10th NCAA Super Regional appearance in the last 13 years, one of only two schools in the country to have accomplished the feat in that span.

A minimum of 45 hours of super-regional television will be provided by family of ESPN channels, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. Consult local listings for specific games shown in each area of the country. As many as 15 national broadcast windows could appear on the three ESPN networks from June 8-11.

The following four super regionals will be played Friday, June 8, Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10 (if necessary). The national seed is indicated before the team name, while updated records through the regionals are in parenthesis.

The determination of the Men’s College World Series order of first-round games both Friday, June 15, and Saturday, June 16, will be announced Monday, June 11. The ESPN family of networks and www.NCAA.com/cws will release the CWS game dates and times as soon as they are available.

The 66th College World Series begins play Friday, June 15, at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
