Columbia, S.C. – Four more South Carolina baseball games will be televised as part of the SEC package, it was announced by the conference office on Friday afternoon. The Saturday, April 16, game vs. Vanderbilt will now be televised by CSS with a first pitch at Carolina Stadium at 7 p.m. Both the Friday and Saturday home games vs. Auburn on April 29 and April 30 are slated for SportSouth with a 7 p.m. start. In addition, the Gamecocks’ road game on Saturday, May 7, at Ole Miss will be televised on SportSouth with a 3 p.m. first pitch. The Gamecocks currently have eight games scheduled for television for the 2011 season.
