COLUMBIA, S.C. — University of South Carolina student-athletes will be collecting cans and financial donations to support Harvest Hope Food Bank. The 2008 SEC Together We CAN Drive began Sept. 19 and continues until Sept. 28. All member institutions of the SEC are participating in the 10-day event.

Supporters may donate at the Wofford and UAB football games Sept. 20 and Sept. 27, respectively. Student-athletes will be collecting cans and financial donations at the gates of Williams-Brice two hours prior to kickoff. In addition, bins will be placed at the volleyball game Sept. 21 at the Volleyball Competition Facility and at the women’s soccer match on Sept. 26 at Stone Stadium.

Donation drop offs will also be located at several grocery stores in Columbia, including BiLo Grocery Store at 4464 Devine St. and Piggy Wiggly at 3818 Devine St.
