COLUMBIA, S.C. –
No. 15 South Carolina softball will attempt to snap a three-game losing streak as they travel to Knoxville, Tenn. for a three-game series against the 14th-ranked Tennessee Lady Vols this week. USC and the Lady Vols will play a doubleheader on Tuesday, March 30 at 4 p.m. and finish with game three on Wednesday, March 31 at 4 p.m. The Gamecocks are 17-8 and 6-6 in the SEC while Tennessee is 34-8 and 7-4 in the SEC.

This will be the first eastern division match-up for the Gamecocks this season and they will attempt to snap the Lady Vols current 12-game win streak. Overall, the Gamecocks are 15-9 against Tennessee and last year, the Lady Vols won the series 2-1 in Columbia. The last time USC played in Knoxville, the Gamecocks won 3-0.

Tennessee is currently third in the SEC East while the Gamecocks are fourth. The Lady Vols have posted conference wins over LSU, Kentucky and Mississippi State. The Gamecocks have recorded wins against Arkansas, LSU and Mississippi State.
