Interviewed by Drew Greiner,USC Sports Information

What is it like being a student – athlete?

It is hard to balance school, my social life, and the team all at once. It can get difficult at times, but other than that it is rewarding.

What is your favorite thing about USC?

The professors. They seem to care about you doing well in class. They are very willing to help you to do well and their commitment makes a difference.

What competition are you most looking forward to?

The Berry competition is going to be a big event because it will probably determine if we go to Nationals.

What is your favorite part of Equestrian?

I like our Varsity competitions. They are very competitive because only the top riders are selected to go to Tennessee. It is different from the competitions we were used to growing up.

What place would you most like to travel to?

I would like to see California. I have heard good things about it. I would also like to visit Texas.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I want to go to graduate school after college wherever I end up . Once in grad school I want to become a physical therapist.

Where do you think you will be in 5 years?

I will be just starting my job and probably back in North Carolina.

What is it like competing for Coach Humphrey?

He makes us ride different horses in practice to prepare us for competitions. He makes it fun by joking around with us and making us feel comfortable.

What is your favorite TV show?

The Newlyweds. It is different from everything else. I also like Friends.
