The University of South Carolina men’s tennis teamed dropped to 20th in the Omni Hotels’ Collegiate Tennis Rankings released on Wednesday by the ITA. The Gamecocks ranked 18th last week but fell two spots after losing two of three matches to nationally ranked opponents. The Gamecocks last week defeated 32nd ranked Clemson 4-3 but dropped matches to #14 Alabama 4-3 and #19 Auburn 6-1.

The Gamecocks are 13-4 overall and 3-4 in the SEC. The Gamecocks continue their tough schedule as they face 23rd ranked Georgia Tech today at 1 p.m. USC will host 18th ranked Georgia on Friday at 2 p.m. while the 42nd ranked Tennessee Volunteers come to town on Sunday at 1 p.m.
