Columbia, S.C. –
The South Carolina volleyball match on Sunday against No. 3 Florida will have a Halloween theme to it, as fans are encouraged to wear their costumes for free admission and enter the costume contest. The winner of the costume contest will receive two ice cream cakes from Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Shop. Participants in the contest will also receive a free bag of candy.

The match will feature 21st-ranked South Carolina and third-ranked Florida in a battle for first-place in the SEC. Last year, USC drew 1,793 people for the match and would like to meet that mark again this year and provide a loud Gamecock crowd. First serve is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Volleyball Competition Facility Center.

On Friday against Georgia, it is “Scout Night”. All youths in Boy Scout and Girl Scout uniforms get into the match for free. Fans can also register for a pair of rollerblades that will be given away at halftime of the match. The Georgia match will begin at 7 p.m.
