Columbia, S.C. – According to the NCAA Division I Statistics released today, Gamecock goalkeeper Michael Bachmeyer ranks seventh in the country in goals against average after posting a 0.54 gaa over a nine-match span. In the team category, South Carolina is ranked eighth in goals allowed.

Over the past nine matches, No. 5 South Carolina tallied four shutouts en route to a 7-1-1 record. The Gamecocks have recorded a win-loss percentage of 0.833 to tie for 15th.

USC returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 6 when the Gamecocks host the No. 4 Clemson Tigers at Eugene E. Stone III Stadium.
