Chattanooga, Tenn. – Senior Adrianna Baggetta led the team as she went 9-for14 for the tournament to give her a .642 average over the four games. In the Alabama game, Baggetta went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an intentional walk. The outfielder scored seven runs and recorded three RBI for the Tournament. Baggetta had a home run against Mississippi State in the opening game on her way to a single-game three RBI performance.

Quinones, a junior, started the tournament off with two runs scored and two RBI on her way to a 3-for-3 performance against Mississippi State. For the tournament she batted an even .500 overall on six hits in 12 at bats. She added two more RBI in the Alabama game to give her four for the tournament.

Sophomore Curtis batted .545, going 6-of-11 for the tournament including a 2-for-2, three RBI performance in the opening game against Mississippi State. Curtis, who recorded a hit in every game, also racked up two extra-base hits including a home run against Alabama. For the tournament Curtis had five RBI and scored three runs for the Gamecocks.

Jennings, a sophomore, also recorded a hit in each game that she played. She went 3-for-9 in the tournament with two RBI and three runs scored. She also had two extra-base hits including a home run against Georgia to put Carolina ahead 5-2 in the sixth inning.
