blank Jennifer Stiles
Jennifer Stiles was named assistant athletics director for compliance at the University of South Carolina in October 2006. Stiles spent seven years at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, before coming to USC. She joined the Bobcat program as a director of compliance in 1999, was promoted to assistant athletics director for compliance and student services in 2001, then was promoted again to associate athletics director for compliance and student services in 2004. While at Ohio University she supervised the areas of compliance, academic services and strength & conditioning, while assisting with department-wide budget allocation, policy implementation and strategic planning. She was also the administrator of ten of the 20 Division I sports sponsored by Ohio University. Prior to her stint at Ohio University, Stiles worked in the compliance office at the University of Kentucky from 1992 to 1999, including a year as the eligibility coordinator. Stiles graduated cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She also earned a master's degree in business administration from UK in 1998. She is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators and the National Association of Athletics Compliance Coordinators. Stiles, a native of Greenbrier, Tenn., is married to Derek Scott, who works for Gamecock Sports Properties. |
