Christie Pollner began working with the Gamecock strength & conditioning staff during the 2011-12 academic year as a graduate assistant before joining the staff on a full-time basis the following year. Since coming to the University of South Carolinas, she has worked with the softball, equestrian, and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, and men's and women's swimming teams. A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), she spent the summer and fall of 2010 interning at Dartmouth College, where she aided in the design and implementation of programs for football, men's and women's lacrosse, women's ice hockey, men's and women's swimming and diving, and men's and women's squash. Pollner also holds the title of Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) and is CPR and AED certified. She is currently pursuing a master's in exercise science from the California University of Pennsylvania. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Pollner rowed for the Cowgirls' crew team for three years while getting her bachelor's in international business in 2010. |
