Brian Corley serves as assistant director of compliance services at the University of South Carolina. Corley has been on staff in the office of compliance services in various roles since 2010.
In his current role, Corley oversees Bylaw 17 and portions of Bylaw 12 and 16. His duties include management of playing and practice seasons, monitoring of student-athlete vehicle and housing information, and administration of required student-athlete forms required for eligibility. Additionally, he serves as the primary compliance contact for the men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s tennis teams.
Corley initially joined South Carolina athletics as an undergraduate intern in summer 2010. He was promoted to compliance assistant in April 2011 and was promoted to assistant director in June 2013. Prior to South Carolina, Corley also served as an intern in the compliance office at his alma mater, Winthrop University.
Brian was born and raised in Lexington, S.C. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Winthrop in 2011.
