44 Gamecocks on SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Earning a 3.0 or higher grade point average over the last two semesters, 44 South Carolina student-athletes earned spots on the 2010-11 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll, Southeastern Conference Commissioner Mike Slive announced today. Overall, 395 student-athletes from the league's 12 institutions were named to the Academic Honor Roll, which takes into account grades from the 2010 Spring, Summer and Fall terms.

For the Gamecocks, the women's swimming and diving team led the way with 26 selections, and their male counterparts had 12. Women's basketball put four players on the list for the fourth-straight season, and men's basketball had two representatives. A complete list of South Carolina's student-athletes earning the honor is below.
