Frank Martin encourages the students to come cheer on South Carolina Men's Basketball in their season opener vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Sunday, November 11 at 3 PM at Colonial Life Arena. This game is on him- every student that attends will receive free food courtesy of Coach Martin!





ROOSTER CROWS
The South Carolina cross country team is set to race in the 2012 NCAA Southeast Regional Championships on Friday at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, N.C. The Gamecocks are coming off a ninth-place finish at the SEC Championships. Freshman Kayla Lampe led the way with a 13th-place finish with a personal record of 21:02.30 as she earned second team All-SEC and SEC All-Freshman Team honors. Senior Chelsea France also placed inside the top 25, finishing 23rd with a PR or 21.23.67.

South Carolina senior co-captain Kevin Stam and sophomore midfielder Braeden
Troyer have earned selection to the 2012 Conference USA All-Academic Team. Stam holds a stellar GPA as a social work major at South Carolina and was honored earlier this season as part of the University's "No Limits" campaign
. Troyer, who also earned all-conference accolades for the second-consecutive season earlier this week, was named to the Capital One Academic All-District 4 Team earlier this month. Troyer maintains an outstanding GPA as a mathematics major.
