Our weekly "what channel is the game on?" post returns as the No. 6 Gamecocks prepare for an SEC showdown with No. 5 Georgia on Saturday! The Gamecocks are 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the SEC after a 38-17 victory over Kentucky last Saturday.
The game is SOLD OUT so we know a lot of fans will be tuned in at home. Every week we'll bring you this post to try to help out those in Gamecock Country who can't make it to the game in person.
The Gamecocks will take on Georgia on Saturday, October 6, airing nationally on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET. ESPN's Brent Musburger, Kirk Herbstreit, and Heather Cox will call the action for the broadcast.
The game will also be available nationwide online streaming on WatchESPN.com or the WatchESPN app. WatchESPN is available free to fans with video subscriptions through Time Warner Cable, Verizon, Brighthouse and Comcast. Note, this is different from last season. This year games on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will only be on WatchESPN and not ESPN3.com. Saturday's game is not available on ESPN3.com.
South Carolina is also the host location this week for ESPN's College GameDay show. The show will air live from the historic Horseshoe on campus from 9-10 a.m. on ESPNU and from 10 a.m.- Noon on ESPN.
