This Week's Home Events: Final Home Soccer Games, Halloween Contest at Volleyball

Big week of home events this week as both soccer teams host their final home games of the season. Men's Soccer will take on Coastal Wednesday evening in their Kick for the Cure game while Women's Soccer will host Senior Night on Thursday in a televised game vs. Florida. Swimming & Diving will also host Florida on Friday to start off a big day of events. Come out to Colonial Life Arena for your first glimpse of the 2012-13 men's basketball team with an open practice at 5:45 PM, then head across the parking lot to the Volleyball Competition Facility to cheer on the Gamecocks vs. Auburn at 7 PM. Wear your best Halloween costume for a chance to win a prize! Volleyball also closes out the weekend with a match vs. new SEC team Texas A&M on Sunday. Football takes on Tennessee on Saturday at noon; Gamecock Walk will be at approximately 9:40 AM so come welcome the team home!

-    Wear pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness
-    Pink pom poms to first 200 fans
-    "I Wear Pink For..." cards
- fans will have the opportunity to fill out and post an "I Wear Pink For" card inside Stone Stadium for any loved one who has courageously battled breast cancer

Swimming & Diving  vs. Florida - 2 PM
- Free admission
- Gamecocks turned in some of the fastest times in the country last Saturday in their tri meet with national powers Texas A&M and North Carolina. Come watch them take on SEC foe Florida!

Men's Basketball Open Practice - 5:45-6:30 PM
- Free parking and admission at Colonial Life Arena
- Doors open at 5:15 PM, first come first serve seating in the lower bowl
- Free team posters available

Volleyball vs. Auburn - 7 PM
-    Halloween Costume Contest
- Fans are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes for a chance to win a prize!  There will be a winner for the elementary aged participants, middle school participants, and college participants.  Come dressed in your costume while cheering for your Gamecocks! Winners will be chosen at halftime.

Volleyball vs. Texas A&M - 1:30 PM
-    Active Gamecocks Day
- One of the designated games for which participants in our Active Gamecocks program may use their free tickets! Active Gamecocks is a statewide initiative to fight childhood obesity.  Children in Kindergarten to 5th grade participate in the program by logging their physical activity for two weeks with a goal of 30 minutes per day with the ability to earn free athletic event tickets.
