This Week's Home Events: Conference Showdowns in Football, Equestrian, and Soccer

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

All of this week's home events have conference implications. Equestrian will have an SEC Championship for the first time this year, and faces Auburn in their second event of the fall. Women's Soccer hosts two big SEC foes and two big women's initiatives this weekend in Tennessee on Friday (our Kick for the Cure Game to support breast cancer awareness) and Georgia on Sunday (our Title IX Day to spotlight the history of women's soccer.) Men's Soccer will also host a conference match on Sunday, hosting UCF at 3:30 p.m. Football will also take on the Dawgs in a highly anticipated SEC showdown this Saturday. We will host ESPN's College GameDay broadcast from the historic Horseshoe on campus. We will also host the Lowe's Tailgate featuring a free concert by country music artist Billy Currington at 5 p.m. on The Garnet Way in the former Farmer's Market.
