ROOSTER CROWS
The South Carolina men's golf team carded a final-round 305 (+17) on Tuesday to finish in third place at the Rees Jones Invitational at Haig Point Club. Senior Dykes Harbin led the way for South Carolina as he recorded a final-round 77 (+5) to finish sixth, the best finish of his career and his second career top-10 showing. Freshman Matt NeSmith earned his first career top-10 finish as he tied for seventh place with a total of 223 (+7).
Gamecock Equestrian Freshman Sally Henry made an instant impact in her collegiate debut last week. Henry not only scored the Hunt Seat team's first point of the season with a five-point victory in Equitation Over Fences, she also earned the Gamecocks' first Most Outstanding Player award of the season. Henry's 88 was an event-high on Saturday, as she scored the first point of a 5-0 sweep for the Equitation Over Fences squad.
Did you know South Carolina leads the SEC in shortest distance between the stadium and Waffle House? Yum. A fan on Twitter pointed out we also probably have the shortest distance of any conference school to Bojangles. Double yum.

"My 2 year old daughter's preschool had Georgia Bulldog Day this week. She showed her displeasure of having to color the bulldog by scribbling on the mascot they made her color. We were rebels and wore our Gamecock stuff!"
