VIDEO OF THE DAY

Check out highlights of Jadeveon Clowney from the Florida game and the first several games of the season below. He was added to the Maxwell award watch list today and is making some noise this season!

First six games:

ROOSTER CROWS

South Carolina senior basketball guard Ieasia Walker earned preseason second-team All-SEC honors by voting of the league's media members. Walker has been a driving force for the Gamecocks' emergence the last seasons using both her scoring and distributing abilities. A two-time All-SEC selection, the 5-foot-8 senior led the team and was among the SEC's top 20 scorers as a sophomore, posting 12.2 points per game.

The South Carolina baseball team concludes fall practice this weekend with the Garnet & Black World Series. First pitch for the opener is at 3 p.m. on Thursday. The Garnet team will be managed by senior RHP Patrick Sullivan with senior LHP Nolan Belcher serving as manager for the Black team.

FAN PHOTO OF THE DAY

Today's fan photo was sent to us by Ashlea Darracott. This is her nine-year-old son Meyers, in "The Swamp" last weekend!
She writes:

"
Needless to say, we were in hostile, gator infested water. This was his first Gamecock experience! He managed to support the team until the bitter end. Gooooo Cocks!"
